Appearing at the Glasgow auditions, the nine Royal Marines known as The Highway Men perform a drumming act which they describe as "something a bit different", eliciting a standing
ovation from the audience.
However, Michael McIntyre says, "To be honest, there were points in it where I started to get a bit bored… It was ok".
Amanda Holden agrees, commenting: "Lots of it was exciting and then there were some bits where I wanted it to end. Then I think if you went through to the next round it's going to be pretty much the same thing."
David Hasselhoff gives a more positive response, telling The Highway Men they are "really great", but adding: "You're really good but you've got to take it to the next level so if we do vote you back you've got to step it up."
However, The Highway Men get a no vote from Holden and McIntyre, provoking boos from the audience.
"I can't believe that," says Ant McPartlin when the performers arrive in the wings. "The audience loved that. They're booing the judges' decision.
"The audience are shouting 'bring them back'. I think we should bring them back."
Ant & Dec then walk on stage to tell the judges they have "made a mistake" and should put The Highway Men through.
Britain's Got Talent is on ITV1 tonight at 8pm.
