Last night, organist Jean Martyn and teenage harmony group No Bounce were chosen to join the lineup for this year's Britain's Got Talent final. Another eight hopefuls will face the judging panel of Simon Cowell, David Hasselhoff, Amanda Holden and Michael McIntyre tonight in the hope of joining them. Here's an introduction to this evening's contenders:

> Britain's Got Talent Semi-Final 1: The lineup

Circus of Horrors
Age: Various
Talent: Variety horror act
Extreme variety act Circus of Horrors reportedly toned down their act at their London audition and ringleader Dr Haze describes the group as "one big family of freaks". Their performance, which included contortion, fire tricks and sword swallowing, was described as a "visual feast" by Michael McIntyre.

Angela & Teddy
Age: 64
Talent: Dog act
Angela's 12-year-old toy poodle Teddy wasn't keen on show hosts Ant and Dec before auditions, but the pair had the judges in stitches. David Hasselhoff said that they were "so adorable" and Michael McIntyre said that he "really enjoyed" their performance.

Abyss
Age: 17-28
Talent: Dancers
South London Street dance troupe Abyss have been together for about four years and perform routines with styles ranging from ballet to body-popping. Amanda Holden admitted that she did not think the group reached the high standards set by Diversity in 2009, but Louis Walsh and Michael McIntyre put them through.

Les Gibson from 'Britain's Got Talent'
Les Gibson
Age: 41
Talent: Impressionist
Impressionist Les, who was born in Liverpool, honed his mimicry skills by impersonating teachers at school. He spoofed Britain's Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec within seconds of taking to the stage at his audition, but it was his take on Coronation Street's Kevin Webster that brought the audience to their feet.

Wachiraporn Tirpak from 'Britain's Got Talent'
Wachiraporn Tirpak
Age: 28
Talent: Cabaret act
Wachiraporn, who is originally from Thailand, is a machine operator in a factory. She says that performing in front of the Queen would be "a dream come true". Her cheeky cabaret act won over all three judges at audition.

Jay Worley from 'Britain's Got Talent'
Jay Worley
Age: 18
Talent: Singer
Jay's performance of Michael Bublé's 'Cry Me A River' got him 'buzzed off' by a sceptical David Hasselhoff. Initially, Michael McIntyre appeared to share the former Baywatch star's reservations, but then told Jay that he was only winding up the Hoff and sent the teenager through to the next stage of the competition.

James Hobley
Age: 11
Talent: Dancer
James, who hails from Redcar, first danced in public when he was 7 years old. His hero is legendary ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev and he says that dancing has helped him to "feel free". James's routine impressed the panel and received a standing ovation from the audience at audition.

Aeolian Chimes
Age: 56 & 59
Talent: Bell ringers
Oxfordshire-based husband and wife team Gay and Alan Cooper say that bell-ringing has kept their 30-year marriage strong. The couple impressed the panel at auditions with a handbell rendition of Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' from the film Titanic.
