The ex-EastEnders actress is apparently on a shortlist of temporary replacements for Amanda Holden, who is still recovering in hospital after giving birth to daughter Hollie last Monday (January 23).
Holden spent three days in a critical condition in hospital and reportedly needed a number a blood transfusions.
Womack was courted by Simon Cowell to become a judge on the show after Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff departed last year, even being flown to Cowell's LA mansion for a meeting.
However, she was forced to turn him down after committing to a stage production of South Pacific until March, seemingly meaning that she will not be able to cameo at London auditions next month either.
"We talked about me joining," Womack told The Sun. "But I'm contracted to South Pacific until March."
Myleene Klass has also been touted to fill in for Holden when Britain's Got Talent hits the capital from Monday, February 6.
