The glossy promo features judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams at their day jobs, before they are all summoned together "for Queen and country".
Holden is seen posing in a lavish blue gown backstage at an old theatre, ex-Strictly Come Dancing judge Dixon waltzes with a male companion in a Cuban bar, Walliams is shown filming a period drama and Cowell looks out from the top of a high rise office.
After being called together, the panelists change into evening wear and race to their rendezvous point - which appears to be inside Buckingham Palace.
A Britain's Got Talent spokesperson explained that the trailer was meant to "reflect a national mood of patriotism" in the year of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympic Games.
The clip will air on ITV during this evening's Chelsea v Napoli UEFA Champions League game, which begins at 7.30pm.
Britain's Got Talent itself will return on March 24, the same day as its BBC rival The Voice UK. It was announced last night (March 13) that the shows are currently scheduled to clash for 50 minutes.
