Stephen Mulhern on 'Got Talent': 'Voice battle doesn't worry me'

Britain's Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern has claimed that he's not concerned about the Simon Cowell show's new rivalry with BBC One series The Voice UK.

Mulhern said that both programmes were "so different" that he didn't think it was anything to worry about for the team at ITV.

Stephen Mulhern talks to Digital Spy:

"To be honest about it, I'm not worried because both shows are so different," he told Digital Spy.

"I do think it's a real shame there's an overlap personally, because if I was a viewer, I'd say, 'I maybe want to watch both'. I do think it's a shame, but you know, if you want to watch a singing show, watch that. If you want to watch a talent show, watch that."

Hyping up his ITV2 spinoff More Talent, he claimed that one act to look out for was Doctor Insane.

"He staple-guns his head. He puts his head in a bowl of glass and then gets people to sit on his face. And it's real glass, I've tested it," said Mulhern.

Britain's Got More Talent airs this Saturday (March 24) at 9.20pm on ITV2.
