The music mogul will be joined by Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Williams, along with hosts Ant and Dec, on the ITV1 talent show, and has announced he's determined to find a "global star" this year.
Cowell explained: "I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I'm very happy they have all agreed to come back."
