'Britain's Got Talent' final to have wildcard entrant

By
Britain's Got Talent will feature a wildcard entrant in the final again this year.

The news was confirmed on spin-off show Britain's Got More Talent following the first live semi-final of the series.
It has not yet been announced whether the judges will have responsibility for selecting this year's wildcard as was the case last year, or whether there will be a public vote.

However, it has been confirmed that the wildcard will be chosen from this year's third-placed semi-finalists - those who just missed out on a place in the final.

Judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden chose to give boyband The Mend a second chance at the grand prize during the 2012 series.
