Cowell pleased with "barmy" new show
Published Saturday, Jun 2 2007, 14:59 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

The music mogul explained that he is proud to be a part of the wacky programme, which follows the search for a unique act to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
"It's the craziest show on Earth," Cowell told The Sun. "Where else could you find a 73-year-old granny rapper, a woman with a bizarre relationship with her horse and a bald bloke who wears what looks like a dartboard on his chest?
"I've never worked on anything so barmy. There were thousands of these people queuing for auditions - it was a real circus."
Britain's Got Talent starts next Saturday on ITV1.
