The second series of Britain's Got Talent could be aired in a prime-time Saturday night slot.
ITV bosses are keen to capitalise on the huge success of the talent show, which was screened on nine consecutive nights last month.
The series, which featured Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden on the judging panel, managed to pull in nearly 13 million viewers for its final episode.
An ITV source told The Sun: "It's definitely a big plan to move Got Talent to Saturday nights. But we must fit in with Simon and see if it works with his American Idol filming."
Opera singer Paul Potts was announced as the winner of the show's first series last month.
