'Talent' star joins top drama school
Britain's Got Talent star Bessie Curzons has been offered a place at the Sylvia Young Theatre School.

The 12-year-old performer, who reached the final of the ITV1 reality series in June, will follow in the footsteps of former Doctor Who star Billie Piper and soap actress Tamzin Outhwaite by joining the top drama school.

"I'd seen two of her appearances on Britain's Got Talent and thought she was charming, vivacious and full of personality," Sylvia told The Mirror. "I can see her with a future in acting specifically, maybe stage musicals."

Bessie, who was beaten by opera singer Paul Potts in the talent show's final, is best remembered for her performances from Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady on the programme.
