Morgan, a judge on the ITV1 talent search, hit back after Norton mocked the show's use of "sob stories" such as 13-year-old Andrew Johnston saying he was bullied for wanting to be an opera singer.
The Daily Star quotes Morgan as commenting: "For me the most poignant moment came when young Andrew revealed he had been bullied at school for pursuing his dream of being a chorister."
He added: "Pick on someone your own size Norton, you mincing, talentless little fool."
Britain's Got Talent beat BBC reality series I'd Do Anything, which Norton presents, in Saturday night's ratings battle.
