Faryl nearly quit 'Britain's Got Talent'

The family of the 12-year-old opera star said that she was too young to cope with fame and threatened to withdraw her from the competition.
However, they were eventually persuaded to change their minds by judge Simon Cowell, who called the family from the US after hearing about their doubts.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "The reaction Faryl got from that first audition was incredible. But her parents felt completely overwhelmed by it all. They weren't sure that at just 12 Faryl was ready for the attention.
"They spoke at length to Faryl and it was agreed she would pull out of the competition. But as soon as the news got to Cowell he was straight on the phone. And in three calls he managed to get them to change their minds. He reassured them by saying that he would personally look after her."
Faryl failed to make the top three in last night's final, however there are rumours that Cowell still plans to offer her a record contract.
