Raef, who missed out on landing a job with Sir Alan Sugar on the programme, will appear alongside the couple for the first time in the autumn.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Raef is thrilled with the Richard and Judy deal. He's never shied away from the fact that The Apprentice launched his career, but he is keen to carve out an name for himself as a presenter, not just a reality TV star."
Richard and Judy are currently appearing in the last series of their Channel 4 teatime chat show. The pair's new programme will launch on UKTV station Watch.
Bjayou appeared as a guest on the couple's popular show last month. Richard told viewers later: "Raef said his real ambition was to be a talkshow host so we took him up on it and invited him on to our programme for a live audition. Raef's report was hilarious - the guy's a natural. Expect to see more of him in future."
