The Apprentice contestant told DS: "Never say never. That's not a yes, or a no!"
Ledgerwood said that despite being treated badly by fellow contestants on The Apprentice, she didn't regret entering the competition.
"I've been really well received by the public, which is lovely," she said. "No matter how rubbish it was at the time, how desperately sad the experience was, I've had a very positive outcome from it.
"I've done business lectures at university, I've worked for the Prince's Trust. I worked for the BBC, covering Ascot and doing various bits of radio."
She continued: "It's changed my direction. It's changed my priorities and taught me not to take family and colleagues for granted."
Ledgerwood is among the contestants taking part in Celebrity Scissorhands, which starts on BBC Three on Sunday, October 26.
