'Apprentice' star denies affair rumours

Apprentice star Kate Walsh has attempted to play down rumours of a romance with her fellow contestant Phillip Taylor.

Last weekend, a report claimed that Walsh had "fallen for" the estate agent during filming for the BBC One reality series.

The pair were said to have continued seeing each other once the show was over before eventually splitting.

However, according to the Sunday Mirror, Walsh told a friend: "I did snog Phillip one evening but that was all that happened. I don't know why I did it because he was a terrible kisser. There was definitely no affair."

A source close to Taylor recently commented: "Phillip is a classic ladies' man. He's as smooth as glass with a nice North East brogue. If he hadn't got hold of Kate, he'd have pounced on one of the others."

The Apprentice continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
