According to The Mirror, the mother-of-two was kicked off a flight in 1994 for being "drunk and obnoxious".
The 36-year-old was apparently returning to London after a hen weekend in Dublin. Tighe and her six friends were all removed from the flight and given a lifetime ban by the company.
"It happened back in 1994 when Lorraine was much younger," said a source. "It has caused her problems going back to see her folks in Ireland."
Tighe's ban will apparently be discussed in the boardroom by Sir Alan Sugar in an upcoming episode.
The Apprentice continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
