Raef Bjayou and Michael Sophocles have defended their infamous tissue ad from last year's Apprentice.
Bjayou was fired from the show after the pair were accused by Sir Alan Sugar of self-indulgence, but the duo stood by their efforts at last night's DS Reality TV Awards.
"We know for a fact that it struck a chord with the public," said Bjayou. "Afterwards we got message after message, not only saying Raef and Michael: 'We love your advert!', but also saying: 'Raef and Michael, that advert should be aired!'"
Sophocles added: "It was f***ing amazing. I got a text from Spielberg saying, 'Son, come and work for me!'"
The pair's advertisement campaign lost out to X Factor's Alexandra Burke in the best moment category at last night's ceremony.
When asked what their future business plans are, Sophocles joked: "We're totally gung-ho! We'll do anything for £20 and a Kit-Kat!"
