Choudhury, 33, has managed to avoid being brought back into the boardroom so far this series, but Hewer said that he does not believe it is down to skill.
Speaking about this week's advertising challenge, Hewer told The Mirror: "Noorul decided to melt in the background. And if that wasn't possible he hid, sweating, in the Pants Man suit.
"Unbelievably, Noorul lives to fight another day. But you can't hide in a Pants Man suit every week."
He also criticised 28-year-old Mona Lewis for her "horrible" presentation skills on this week's task. "It was like going to a primary school class," he said.
However, Hewer insisted that Sugar made the right decision in firing New York-born Kimberly Davis this week.
"Kimberly was right to go," he said. "She had no courage and showed no leadership. She let herself to be bullied."
