The comedienne beat poker champion Annie Duke in the final after she planned a better fundraising gala.
Before Donald Trump made his decision, the two women exchanged words in the last boardroom, The AP reports.
Rivers said: "You are a two-faced person. You have said I'm a cancer. You said you hoped I would die. You never said it to my face!"
Duke said: "For six boardrooms, I sat here and acted professional."
Rivers retorted: "Professional-ly."
When Duke said that "there's only so much a girl can take", Rivers replied: "You're not a girl anymore, darling. You're a woman."
However, in the final moments of the NBC show after Trump made his decision, Rivers offered Duke a hug.
