Ben Clarke: 'I looked like a k**b'
Published Thursday, May 21 2009, 11:30 BST | By Alex Fletcher

Clarke became the ninth applicant to be fired by Sir Alan Sugar yesterday when his team failed in a baby showroom task.
Speaking to Adrian Chiles on You're Fired, the 22-year-old stockbroker confessed that he had shown a lack of maturity during his stint on the show.
"I was too young and too immature and I think I've still got a lot to learn," he said. "I did go in there all guns blazing but, to be honest, it was down to lack of maturity.
"I was very inexperienced, it was more of a defence mechanism than anything... I thought I did all right. I made a bit of a k**b of myself."
He added: "I think one of my problems was that I really sort of put the blinkers on. There's that big £100k job being dangled in front of you, your blinkers are on and you go for it.
"I'm in a big, ruthless competition and I'm going to cut everyone apart to get there. Realistically, that actually shrouds some of your real skills and your real talent."
The Apprentice continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
