Sophocles, 26, who finished sixth on last year's show, has been highly critical of the latest group of applicants for Sir Alan Sugar's £100,000 job.
Speaking about McQuillan, the former telesales worker told The Sun: "He may be a nice chap but comes across like a baboon's bottom in the boardroom."
He also lambasted Debra Barr, who he compared to series three contestant Katie Hopkins, claiming that she doesn't have "a decent bone in her body".
The reality TV star went on to reveal that he had nicknamed the latest fired applicant Ben Clarke "the hobbit".
