'Apprentice' Tighe 'suffered in silence'

The business hopeful claimed that she was strong enough to deal with angry confrontations with rival contestants such as Philip Taylor and Yasmina Siadatan, but said that she struggled to spend so much time away from her daughters.
"I very much missed my daughters," she told DS. "I was suffering in silence with that. I didn't get to speak to them on a daily basis and they are both very young, so by the end, that was causing me a lot of pain."
Tighe also admitted that she was concerned about tabloid stories, which claimed that she had experimented with a swingers lifestyle.
"The one thing that I would say about that is that I'm a mother with two daughters and my family live in a small town in Ireland," she commented.
"I'm not so much worried about myself in all of this, I was more concerned about the impact on my family. I don't normally read tabloids and nothing could have prepared me for the impact this show would have on my family."
Tighe, 36, was axed by Sir Alan Sugar yesterday, alongside Debra Barr and James McQuillan.
