McQuillan, who finished fifth on Sir Alan Sugar's reality series, said that he wants to use his profile to increase interest in the sport.
"I'm doing some screen tests now but the plan is to have a regular slot on a racing show," he told The Sun. "Horse racing is the biggest sleeping giant. Apart from the Derby, it's not well known."
The 32-year-old sports fanatic is reportedly also working on a book about childbirth.
"I'm going to say everything totally wrong," he joked. "A guide on how to cope with a hormone wreck. I'll probably ostracise half the population."
