The reality TV contestant, who finished fourth on last year's show, admitted that her time on TV had made her unhappy about her appearance.
"I hated what I saw in the mirror. I'd never liked my stomach after having two 10lbs babies, but looking at the wrinkly skin started to make me feel sick," she told Closer magazine.
Speaking about her new fitness regime, which has helped her shed two stone, she added: "My cellulite has gone and I no longer have an awful grey tinge to my skin. My depression has lifted, I'm 100 times stronger and I've got loads more energy.
"This experience has changed my life. I finally feel happy."
Tighe also admitted that she would consider having surgery to alter her looks further. "I still have work to do on my stomach. I'll tone up as much as I can, then look into having a tummy tuck," she said.
"I've definitely become more vain. Whether or not that's a good thing, I don't know!"
