The former contestant said that he was concerned when he heard about Brady replacing Margaret Mountford on the reality series, but praised her efforts so far on the Junior spinoff.
"I was genuinely worried when it was first announced because it was pretty big shoes to fill with Margaret leaving," the 2009 applicant told DS. "But so far I've been really impressed.
"I think it's worked really well, her starting on the Junior show, because we've got to know her and see what a nice person she is. She's shown how smart she is and has even been funny at times. She also brings some glamour to the show, which is different, and great for the programme."
Taylor is currently launching his own ethical underwear company and is in talks about distributing the Body Rocka, which he invented on the business show.
"The pants business is still going," he said. "I've got a pretty big meeting next week with a large investment firm.
"Hopefully after that, things will either blast off huge or get going on a lower key. I'm hoping to get it all sorted in time for the full adult series of The Apprentice to maximise publicity. The cool thing is that regardless of the credit crunch, people always need pants!"
Junior Apprentice continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
