Taylor: 'Zoe Plummer is awesome'

Former Apprentice contestant Phillip Taylor has described Zoe Plummer as an "outstanding candidate".

Plummer led her team to victory in a cupcake design-and-sales challenge on last night's Junior Apprentice.

Speaking about the teenager, the 2009 applicant told DS: "I think she's awesome. She reminds me of me on the show a little bit. The only problem she might have is that she is getting carried away with her early successes, like I did.

"But I think she is the outstanding candidate so far. Her sales skills are unbelievable. She's got great leadership skills, she just needs to reign it in a little bit. I love the femme fatale thing she's got going on with the lipstick. She looks the part. Definitely one to watch."

He added: "Also, if you are prepared to step inside a giant cupcake suit like she did last night and have that enthusiasm, things will work for you. It's like Richard Branson, when he launches a brand, he does all his own stunts. He's not afraid to look silly."

The Junior Apprentice continues next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
