Nick Hewer has denied saying that there should be a version of The Apprentice featuring older people.
Lord Alan Sugar's aide was reported as suggesting that "life experience get some of the spotlight" with a series featuring older contestants.

Speaking at a press conference for the upcoming Young Apprentice, Hewer said: "While I may be approaching Alzheimer's - I can't remember talking to anybody.
"Was it The Sun? I'd like to have a word with the journalist... No recollection at all."
Sugar added: "It's something called 'too much Sugar on the BBC'. How many more series can we have?"
Pushed on what sort of tasks a series based around older contestants would feature, the show boss quipped: "We're not doing it, but maybe incontinence pants and Zimmer frames."
