Lord Alan Sugar is joined by advisers Nick Hewer and Karren Brady for the series, who will watch the candidates as they carry out each weekly task.

All the young contestants are aged between 16 and 17, with many still currently in education.

The contestants include a former head girl, a farmer's daughter, a female rugby player, a fashion designer, a choral scholar and a ukulele player. The candidates will live in a luxury mansion in Hampstead during the show.
The sole winner will receive a fund worth £25,000 tailored to their development and career prospects to kick-start their business.

Tasks will include designing a cookbook, sourcing props for the English National Opera, branding a hair-styling product and selling goods at Womad festival.

Young Apprentice has also teamed up with comedy group The Brett Domino Trio to produce a number of songs related to the show, the first below being an introduction to the new candidates.

A further four videos from the group will be released during the series.
