Katie Hopkins, Syed Ahmed and Tre Azam are among the contestants to face host Anne Robinson on the BBC quiz, reports The Sun.
Last week's axed hopeful Nicholas De Lacy-Brown and Raef Bjayou will also appear on the charity special in May.
Producers are hoping to get Paul Callaghan on the show following his fling with Hopkins on last year's series.
A BBC source said: “This will be the ultimate Weakest Link – nine people with huge egos who have plenty of scores to settle.”
However, the insider added: “The producers are hoping everyone doesn’t just gang up on Katie. The aim is to work as a team but in reality they’ll be trying to get rid of those they dislike most."
