The 29-year-old marketing consultant sold her house in Bristol and returned to her home city of Dublin before the new series of the BBC One reality show premiered in March.
Maguire clashed with her fellow contestants during filming for the show because of her ruthless nature. Sir Alan Sugar's advisor Nick Hewer also labelled her "cold" in one boardroom meeting.
A show source told the Daily Star Sunday: "Jennifer never held back during her time on The Apprentice. She did everything she could to win but sometimes her tactics and her manner made her unpopular.
"It was clear she was going to face an angry reaction from the public after all the episodes were aired. So she decided to sell up and move back to Ireland after the show finished."
Her business partner confirmed: "Jenny has moved to Dublin to set up a photography business hopefully in the near future."
He also insisted that she found her time on The Apprentice "very exciting and enjoyable".
