Sir Alan splashes £4m on anniversary

Sir Alan Sugar has spent £4 million celebrating his ruby wedding anniversary, say reports.

According to The Mirror, he hired the services of Elton John to provide music at the bash.

John is Sugar's wife's favourite musician and the business tycoon had the singer flown in by private helicopter.

Compered by Bruce Forsyth, the event was reportedly held at his home in Chigwell, Essex on Sunday.

A source commented: "It was just jaw-dropping."
