Sir Alan challenges the teams to make a story-based TV commercial for a tissue company, delegating Raef and Alex project manager responsibilities.
Alex is joined in Team Alpha by Lucinda and Lee, while Raef takes charge of Claire, Helene and Michael in Team Renaissance.
When Lucinda is sent to work on location, she comments "I think maybe Alex found me a bit strong and wanted me out of the way."
Later the pair argue about the team's choice of a domestic family theme. Commenting on Lucinda's behaviour, Lee says: "I've never seen this side of her before."
Criticising the team's efforts, Lucinda says: "There's nothing that is exciting or dynamic or dare I say vaguely fascinating about what we've got.
"Who wants to hear about a normal bog standard family? Not me."
On the subject of Alex's tissue box designs, she comments: "What do I think? I think its crap. He's useless. He's worse than useless."
The Apprentice airs on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
