They've flogged crap biscuits, they've sold teapots to the French and they've attempted to market a freesheet to Over 60s with the title Hip Replacement. All pretty ridiculous challenges that even the greatest entrepreneur would struggle to complete when they have a camera shoved in their face and Melody yabbing away in their ear. So thankfully, Lord Sugar takes it easy this week, wheeling out an old-fashioned bog-standard sales task.
Natasha, Jedi Jim and Susan take on Tom, Melody and the so far unbeaten and unstoppable Helen in a wholesale reinvestment challenge. Sugar tells the six candidates that they must sell £250 of produce and then use that cash to reinvest in what they consider to be the most profitable items, sell them, and so forth.
Will that simple concept be understood by everyone? Can Tom possibly survive another defeat? Will anyone ever manage to beat Helen? All these questions and more will be answered this evening.
