McFadden dropped from squad

The voting public has decided to drop Brian McFadden from the celebrity squad in The Match.
Despite being axed, the former Westlife star felt that the decision was a fair one, admitting he was "lazy" and "not fit enough."
He cited a failure to fully recover from a leg operation last year as the pivotal factor in his inability to perform to the required standard.
Ex-Neighbours actor Blair McDonough was once again saved by the public, although McFadden disagreed with Graham Taylor's decision to put him there in the first place. "Graham is trying to get him out and I don't know why," he said. But 'The Gaffer' had previously told McDonough, one-on-one: "I don't think you're good enough to be in the team."
Earlier, the players overwhelmingly decided to spare Rocky Marshall from the public vote, with 10 players choosing the 39-year-old to stay.
