Linda Evans wins 'Hell's Kitchen 2009'

Linda Evans has emerged as the winner of Hell's Kitchen, beating favourite Adrian Edmondson in the live final.

The former Dynasty star won the public vote after the professional praise she earned with the meal she produced for show boss Marco Pierre White and fellow chef Raymond Blanc.

Evans's crab starter and oriental salmon main course were selected as the favourite lunch of the chefs ahead of Edmondson's eggs with kipper followed by rack of lamb.

She said: "I'm absolutely beyond thrilled to have had such a nice compliment from a man such as Raymond."

During the second half of last night's show, both finalists had to run half of the kitchen during the evening service, with Edmondson's mark of nine out of ten beating Evans's seven.
