The 10-year-old street dancer and Glasgow ballet group will join Matthew Koon, Emily Crow, Jukebox Juniors and MJ Latin in next week's show.
All three judges - Kimberly Wyatt, Adam Garcia and Ashley Banjo - gave three stars to the winning acts.
Banjo described The Box as "phenomenal", while Wyatt claimed that their performance gave her "chills".
Speaking about Akai's hip-hop routine, Garcia said: "You can do everything. You have got this gift, when you dance, something comes out of you - it is an infectious joy."
Banjo added: "You have shown us some proper technique tonight. Your poppin', your breakin', I can't think of the words to say."
Following performances from Banjo's dance troupe Diversity and Kimberly Wyatt's solo outing last week, Garcia took to the stage for the last semi-final with a tap vs DJ routine.
The Got To Dance final airs next Sunday at 6pm on Sky1.
