Antics, Sweet Surprise triumph on 'Got to Dance' - pictures

Antics and Sweet Surprise became the latest acts voted through to the Got to Dance final last night (February 12).

Self-taught street dance crew Antics wowed judges Kimberly Wyatt, Adam Garcia and Diversity star Ashley Banjo with their semi-final performance. Banjo, who won Britain's Got Talent with his street dance troupe, even gave the group a standing ovation.

"Guys, I stood up because you guys are a class act. Even with all the humour and all the jokes, you still bring that hard dance," said Banjo.

"You kind of encapsulate it all and that is really, really hard to do. It's because you are so inventive, nothing is generic, no generic flips. You've carved a really strong identity with two performances. It's so hard to stand out in the street world, we've seen hundreds of crews and I know exactly who you are and what you are about."

Pussycat Dolls star Wyatt commented: "You guys are so dope. Talk about having the whole package, you tick all the boxes. You've got swagger, you hit it hard, you are smooth! You've got transitions and the comedic feel. I mean serious gold."

The Got to Dance winner will take home a £250,000 grand prize.

7-year-old Glasgow contemporary dancer Sweet Surprise was the other act voted into the final and tap star Garcia claimed that the young dancer remained his favourite performer in the competition.

"In the auditions I said you were my favourite and you are still my favourite. Anyone that can go 'shhhh' and the entire audience goes 'sorry' and then you go rock and roll and they all go rock and roll, you have to be in the final," said Garcia.

Wyatt added: "Now that's the type of performance I was looking for, you are a little rock star. The fact that you can take on so many different styles of music and bring it to life the way you do, you are such a find. So please vote for this one because you so have to be in the final."

The Got to Dance semi-finals continue next Sunday at 6pm on BBC One. The final takes place at London's Olympia on Sunday, March 4.
