The wait is almost over - Being Human finally returns this Sunday night and the cult drama's fifth series opens strong with 'The Trinity' - penned by series creator Toby Whithouse.

One month after Annie blew up baby Eve and most of the Old Ones, Hal (Damien Molony) is still struggling to control his bloodlust, new ghost Alex (Kate Bracken) is struggling to adapt to life without chocolate and a change of shoes...

And Tom (Michael Socha)? Well, he's the same bright-eyed and bushy-tailed werewolf we've come to know and love. But the trio's new-found domesticity at Honolulu Heights comes under threats when a new threat emerges - the greatest, oldest evil of them all...

Being Human returns to BBC Three this Sunday (February 3) at 10pm.

1. "This is a two sets of Marigolds problem!"

2. Annie's actions - and the loss of baby Eve - are touched upon here.

3. "Let's keep cock-ups to an absolute minimum."

4. Flashbacks to Hal's past in 1918 France lead to a sense of déjà vu.

5. "Aren't you rather missing the point of a clandestine organisation?"

6. The Being Human hardcore might notice a brief cameo from a certain someone.

7. "I have no intention of bumming you."

8. Tom's chivalrous behaviour doesn't go down well with feisty Alex.

9. "No more supernatural nonsense!"

10. Just because you're a ghost doesn't mean you're safe from harm...
