The latest on 'Hustle: The Movie'

A big screen version of Tube Talk favourite Hustle has been on the cards since... well, forever. With the latest series drawing to a close next week, we checked in with creator Tony Jordan to find out the status of the project.
"It's driving me mad!" he tells us. "I'm about halfway through the latest version and it's really tough. We don't want to just do an extended episode of Hustle and say it's a movie. While the show's still running it has to be faithful to the series and those characters. Making those two things fit is just proving to be really difficult."
So the big question - who's in the gang in the movie? Will Danny and Stacie be back? Apparently not, says Jordan, who's writing the film with the current cast in mind. "I have to really - every time I write a load of dialogue for Mickey Bricks I've got Adrian Lester's face looking at me!" he adds. "Whether Fox decide to cast the original cast or not is for them to decide but I think that would be the way to make it work perfectly."
Meanwhile, hit play below to watch an exclusive introduction to tonight's episode, which, as we previously revealed, features a cameo from the Dragons' Den dragons.

So it really is true! Fox NEEDS to cast the original crew into the film. It would be so much better with the original 5.

i think going to america to do this film wich alot of people would do would be a mistake, but i do think an almost oceans 11 feel, the teams biggest ever score and they need help from everyone (stacie and dani included) but in classic hustle style maybe not reveal there parts till maybe the second half (would b a shame to only reveal them at the end and not get our full of them) and maybe.... just maybe, alberts daughter wants to get in on the action??.... i have thousands of ideas, feel free to right bk! haveitwithme@hotmail.co.uk (excuse the address)
