Former Emmerdale actress Adele Silva has signed up to join the GMTV team as its travel reporter.
The Hell's Kitchen star will go on an African safari for her first report, and admitted that she is itching to start her new job.
She said: "I love doing presenting and I really want to travel so this is perfect.
"I'm going to Kenya on Saturday and then after that I'm going to Dubai. It's going to be an amazing experience."
