E4 announces new teen sitcom

The Inbetweeners will be "a comedic take on growing up in middle class suburbia".
The show promises "a place where there are no teen pregnancies, no drugs, no knife fights and no guns. It’s about a bunch of lads who get into real scrapes rather than real trouble".
The six-part series, beginning in May, sees the slightly-snobbish Will move to a new school and find three new friends.
It was written by Daman Beesley and former Channel 4 comedy commissioner Iain Morris.
