Digital Spy caught up with Jade to find out about her Top Model experience and discover what the future holds.
Congratulations on your victory! How was the Top Model journey for you?
"Thank you! I'm having a brilliant time. At first the whole experience was a bit surreal and crazy. But after a week in the house of being filmed and asked to talk to the camera, you get used to it. But at first, it is such a weird feeling."
What was your favourite shoot?
"Favourite shoot is a hard one. I liked the underwater shoot looking back at it, but not at the time. I never thought I'd do it. The shoot I was really pleased with was the one with the bird, the falcon. I'd say that was my favourite shoot. The overall highlight has to be going to Miami though. That was definitely the highlight, getting the £2,000 to spend on clothes!"
And the worst?
"I didn't really enjoy the nude shoot. I knew my brother was going to be watching it, so that was quite awkward! And the ballet shoot was really, really hard. I found it quite hard to get into character and by the time I did, it was too late."
You were constantly down on yourself during the competition. Why was that?
"I think it's because I haven't done much work before, I put myself down a lot. That's the one thing I regret looking back... not having that confidence in myself."
Elle seemed to like your nerves and naivety. Do you think that worked to your advantage?
"I think because I didn't have any confidence at all and Juste already thought she had won that may have worked to my advantage. Like you say, I think it may have drawn Elle to me more."
How much did your final meal with Imogen inspire you for the catwalk showdown?
"Yeah it really helped. It made me just think, 'Get on that catwalk and go for it'. I didn't actually feel nervous until after the catwalk. I think the adrenaline gets you through it."
Do you consider yourself proof that you don't have to be bitchy to make it as a model?
"Yes, totally. I think you just have to be yourself. I'm not a bitchy person and I've stayed true to myself throughout the competition. I didn't think it was right to be bitchy about people because we're all different anyway."
Were you shocked by the footage of the bitching in the house?
"Yes, I was to be honest. A lot of time I didn't know it was going on. I don't know where I was half the time, but I didn't notice this stuff happening. I was shocked last week to see Anastasijia and Juste looking through our photos last week, because me and Imogen had been out and bought them presents... silly us, We were out there buying things with our prize money for them and they were just there bitching about us. That's totally up to them, but it's not in my nature."
What was Daisy Lowe like to spend time with?
"That was great. She was really, really friendly, really nice and she gave me loads of advice. Daisy is a curvy model like me and she told me, 'There's nothing to be ashamed of just because your body is the way that it is'. She was super nice."
What was it like doing a catwalk while walking dogs? That must have been scary...
"I was scared about everything. I was scared about falling down the stairs, I was scared about the dogs pulling me off the stage, all these things going through my head. It was like another challenge. It wasn't what I expected. I expected another catwalk show and it was like another challenge."
How did you get on with Miss J in the catwalk masterclass?
"I was a bit nervous, because Miss J is the catwalk queen and he's not afraid of speaking his mind. But do you know what, he did say some things to me, but he said them in a nice way. I took all of that on board. He wasn't as mean as I thought he would be."
What are your plans now you've won?
"Yes, in the near future I want to move to America. An agency in Miami wanted to sign me, so I'd love to try and make that happen. Also, I'd love to make a move to New York. I'd love to work with someone like Victoria's Secrets out there."
