'Top Model' axes another girl: 'It's hard to make a chicken look sexy'

By
Emma Sharratt became the latest hopeful axed by Elle Macpherson and the judges on Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model tonight.

Emma was voted off the show after failing to impress in a butterfly shoot and an animal catwalk, which involved her attempting to pose with a chicken.

Speaking after her exit, Emma said: "I'm really frustrated and disappointed with myself, because I thought that I could do better than this. I came into this thing really confident but obviously at the same time, I didn't do as well as I thought I would.

"I think it's harder having been in the house and then going, rather than having gone in Dubai. I'd probably have preferred that because I haven't achieved anything from being here [in the house]."

Talking to Digital Spy, she added: "I think if I had stayed I could have learned to do better, with my walk and on the shoots. I think I could have made a couple of improvements that might have meant I would have stayed a few weeks longer, like growing out my eyebrows - they were too thin and looked quite harsh in the photos.

"Tyson Beckford was my favourite judge. When he was there, mentoring our first shoot in Dubai for example, he seemed to be really interested in everyone and was really 'there'.

"He cared for the girls and I think he wanted to see us all do our best. After my elimination, Alesha Dixon, the guest judge that week, came backstage and told me that she and Tyson had stuck up for me during the decision of who should go, so that was nice to hear."

Joking about having to work with a chicken on this week's shoot, she said: "Umm yes, it was interesting! All the other girls got really exotic animals, and me and Roxy got a chicken. It's hard to make that look sexy.

"Yes, I would [work with a chicken again], if I could keep hold of it! So it would need to be a tamer one."

Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model continues on Mondays at 9pm on Sky Living.
