'Sherlock' triumphs at RTS craft awards

Sherlock has picked up three gongs at the Royal Television Society's Craft and Design Awards.

The BBC drama was recognised for its picture enhancement effects, editing and title music at the ceremony last night.

Doctor Who won the digital effects award, while E4's cult drama Misfits picked up prizes for sound and special effects.

Facejacker and Going Postal also won two awards each. Facejacker was recognised for its costume and make-up design, while Sky's Terry Pratchett adaptation triumphed after picking up prizes in the music and photography categories.

EastEnders was recognised for the camerawork in its live episode. Other winners at the event included Mo, Mongrels, Pete Versus Life, Wallander, Dancing On Ice and Worried About The Boy.

Meanwhile, the production team behind Coronation Street were presented with the special Judges' Award.
