'MasterChef' breaks Aus ratings records

Nearly 3.8 million viewers tuned in to last night's final to watch Julie Goodwin beat Poh Ling Yeow in a three-round cook-off. Of those, 3.31 million sat through the entire two-hour show.
The most watched event of all time on television Down Under is the 2005 Australian Open tennis final when Aussie Lleyton Hewitt was beaten by Marat Safin.
Channel Ten have announced that a celebrity version of the cookery show will begin in October.
