The singer-songwriter, who initially didn't impress the judges with prawn and ricotta ravioli, eventually won by cooking a strawberry, sponge and ice cream dessert.
Lloyd told the AAP: "The one thing I was dreading about the show was dessert. When my wife and I cook at home, she always cooks the dessert, she's the meticulous, neat, tidy kind of medical scientist, I'm the messy, happy go lucky creative dude."
He added: "I find if there's a lot of distractions or there's a pressure situation, I suffer a little bit."
Lloyd was up against Video Hits presenter Fuzzy Agolley and comedian Peter Roswthorn. He will now face celebrities such as cricketer Simon Katich, Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch and swimmer Eamon Sullivan in the next round of the reality series.
