
The 31-year-old wannabe chef, who has previously said that he would love to own a restaurant focusing on his Indian heritage, left after failing to impress the judges with his own version of celebrity chef Rick Stein's seafood platter.
Seervai told AAP: "When I was putting up my platter, I knew I was going home, just by looking at the other two guys' dishes. But I was still smiling. I thought, 'Holy crap, I'm serving up a dish in front of Rick Stein'.
"The thought of owning a restaurant has always been a bit of a fairytale for me. But first up I'd like to produce a line of food sauces."
Seervai was up against Matthew Caldicott and Jake Bujayer in the elimination challenge.
