The 27-year-old won the Sky1 talent show for her performances of 'Focus' and 'This Day' during tonight's live finals at Wembley Arena.
The singer/songwriter - whose real name is Emma Gillespie - walks away with the top prize of £100,000, beating The Pictures and Missing Andy in the top three.
Upon hearing that she had won, Gillespie said: "Thank you so much for supporting me, I couldn't have done it without you. I can't get my head around [the £100,000 prize money]."
The Edinburgh-born Gillespie began performing and writing songs at the age of 16 and earned her income from busking on the streets of Glasgow.
Earlier in the evening, finalists Pepper & Piano, Hero and Daithi were eliminated from the competition, leaving the top three acts to perform again for the second round of public votes.
The final also included performances from judges Sharleen Spiteri, Jamie Cullum and Dizzee Rascal.
Must Be The Music returns to Sky1 next year.
