Jodie and Jenna have walked out of Coach Trip after 16 days on the Channel 4 reality series.

The Essex duo decided to depart the show of their own accord, admitting that they needed to get home for "work commitments".

Speaking to resident tour guide Brendan Sheerin on last night's show, Jenna said: "We've been thinking about it in the last week. We're leaving. We wish we could stay. We never ever thought we would make it this far.

"We thought we would be gone in a couple of days. We've realised that we have got work commitments at home and we have seen what a state we are getting in... We need to go home and sort ourselves out."

"I haven't got any underwear left," joked Jodie.

The pair were one of the original couples still on the show and were rumoured to be involved in a clique with Tam & Jayson and Paul & Matt.

Yorkshire couple Lloyd and Anita were voted off last night's show, receiving their second yellow card after the group vote.

Coach Trip continues tonight at 5pm on Channel 4.
