'TOWIE' Kirk, Lauren nose jobs 'not for publicity'

Kirk Norcross and Lauren Pope have denied that they got nose jobs simultaneously for publicity.

The Only Way Is Essex couple both underwent the cosmetic procedure at a London hospital earlier this month.

Asked if the surgery was a publicity stunt, Norcross told Heat: "No way. We could think of other, less painful publicity stunts! LOL."

Quizzed on whether he feared ending up with the same nose as Pope, he laughed: "That would just be freaky. We both wanted different things changed, so there was no danger of matching noses at the end of it."

Pope said of the possibility of undergoing further procedures: "I've had surgery before, so it wasn't such a big deal to me. And who knows in the future?

"I'm such a strong believer that you do whatever makes you happy, but I definitely won't go too far. I don't want to end up looking like that Bride of Wildenstein woman!

"I had a nose job before, then three months after the op I walked into a glass door in Ibiza. It left a dent on the bridge that I had to have filler put into. Now I don't need to keep doing that twice a year for the rest of my life."

When Norcross and Pope hinted at their upcoming surgery, it led to rumours that the pair were planning to wed.
